Religions are being replaced by apathy and secularism of disassociation from ancient scriptures. Is it wise for the masses to distance themselves from the values of religion? My answer is whatever works for you that doesn’t encroach upon others’ rights to have a positive life best for the individual and collective of the world. Religiousness is a state of ‘mind and heart’ that affirms peace and harmony. But, at this point in time, throwing the baby (religion) out with the water is to put the greater % of the populace and this country into a boat with one oar in a turbulent river considering the chaos with a badly needed direction.
While reading an article coming out in the Oregonian paper recently, that it’s discusting to give out free clean tinfoil and straws to ‘fentanyl users’, I asked myself, where did all this use of dangerous drugs start? Did it all start with ‘poor parenting’? Personally, I think it begins with getting pregnant without that intention, and being forced by the state to deal with the consequences while not allowing a woman to stop the pregnancy that’s not wanted by either an abortion pill or early term abortion. Are some Christians or other religions guilty of shutting down this possibility, and also encouraging more ‘guilt’? Is it really Satanicianity or ‘dark Christianity’? This, of course, is not an intent to ‘demonize religions’ as many are at a point where they believe it serves them.
Religion continues as a business. Religiousness is not a business. It’s that which is an individual decision to continually evolve into a more conscious being with all the fruits of keeping the heart in focus with ones like compassion, empathy, joy, creativity, peacefulness, etc. in the mix of a healthy way of being. Paradise is here now and beyond. Religion is made to make you feel guilty, while a sense of religiousness is a promotion of the highest realms of the spiritual. Religions are here to insist that you ‘believe’ and have faith in that belief. It seems that the inner search of knowing who you really are, and the quest to gather knowledge into a ‘knowing’ is sacrilegious. Belief in a God, while being open to seeing that it’s just a word that excludes ‘knowing intuitively’ that the ‘harmonious positioning’ of all life is life’s secret is a ‘trap’ for control. Life’s greatest experiences are where ‘words’ are not needed. Words are an artificial convenience for those not coming from the heart with a sense of ‘common sense’
The religions have taught you that you are not part of this world; you are here to be punished, to repent your “original sin.” They had to do it in order to create God, who is a poetic fiction; and to create heaven, which is an extension of human greed; and to make people afraid of hell, which is to create a great fear in the very center of the human soul. Of course those fictions are very profitable to the priests and religion’s salesmen.
This planet, this earth, is our mother and we are all part of one life force – part of one oceanic existence. And because we are one deep inside at our center, the possibility of love exists. I am against all organized religions, without any exception, for the simple reason that truth cannot be organized, love cannot be organized – it is not politics. All these religions have made you parts of crowds, dependent on the crowds. They have taken away your individuality, your freedom, your intelligence. In its place they have given you bogus beliefs, which mean nothing.
