… And, just a word! Anyone can use it! Time to shake the dust of life off. Recently, I came upon TV host, Dr. Phil interviewing a once famous Hollywood star by the name of Shelly Duval (now 68) who in the ’80’s was known as a beauty in many starring roles. Apparently, her unresolved issues took their toll on her psychologically and physically. Life, especially at this chaotic time, is the best opportunity for human evolvement ever in time. Most seem unaware of that, sadly.
I have a friend (68) who called me yesterday from a rehab center (thankfully, finally) in Spokane, Wa. Back in the 80’s in NY she was a ‘smart show stopper’. 5’7” 125#’s, stacked and friendly. She wasn’t a star but dated a lot of them. I never dated her because, well there was a ‘price’, and I’m really good with females who love themselves and show it. No matter how adjusted and conscious you are, when they have demons and struggle, it’s more than a challenge best left to someone else. I write on ‘relationships as a spiritual path’, but this Hollywood star example, wouldn’t be a smooth spiritual path, however I’m sure she’s a teacher of what not to be involved with! Demons can be extinguished with purposeful intent and meditation. (not just females either. I have a male friend same age who has many Hollywood credits – same thing, and OMG!)
You’ve heard the expression, ‘too smart for their britches’? Both are very smart, but not when it comes to personal care and spiritual evolvement. It’s never too late, if one allows the cooling embers to emit a spark that becomes a fire! Many are like talking to a rock or wet embers, the ego of friendship with the enemy within them is deeper than the deepest ocean. Life is more and more going to take out the slovenly, corrupt, and just food eaters occupying space.
Evil only works in the dark. The mind is a jungle of weeds for those who are not waking up to the light for the first time in history. Start your own college of life and give yourself a Masters, then Doctorate if you’ve earned it. Time to stop being a doormat for life that expects you to get/have a balanced mind and heart, being very informed and actively giving for your rent on Earth. Then you will have a good place in the hereafter! Write a song for yourself. Be living on a prayer, a prayer of love!
