Marriage is a beautiful thing, but men and women are also different creatures, as any couple can testify. As a result of that struggle to bridge the gap between male and female, even joke material is hardly scarce… One, I found:
Bill has worked in a pickle factory for several years. One day he confesses to his wife that he has a terrible urge to stick his penis into the pickle slicer. His wife suggests that he see a therapist to talk about it, but Bill vows to overcome this rash desire on his own.
A few weeks later, Bill returns home absolutely ashen.
His wife asks, “What’s wrong, Bill?”
“Do you remember how I told you about my tremendous urge to put my penis into the pickle slicer?” His wife gasps, “My God, Bill, what happened???” “I got fired.” “No, Bill I mean, what happened with the pickle slicer?” “Oh, um, she got fired too.”
Having had many ‘meditation partners’* coming into adulthood in the late 1960’s and ’70’s, and with a breakthrough for the first time in history of the ‘sexual revolution’, I experienced the many wonderful relationships as a new form of meditation along with other forms of meditation. Having been a student in a University of philosophy and psychology, I was intrigued by the binding love connection between partners in terms of both ‘why so many problems’ and couples seeking minimal to no real ‘repair’ interaction to relationship problems. In my late 20’s, I found the ‘fountain’ of harmony’ that was a step into seeing that love between two people can become a bridge to a state of like ‘nirvana’ among two people who are struck with what I call ‘love that’s beyond love’ into an inner harmony that encapsulates a love river within that continues flowing with no ending.
*Note: A ‘meditation partner’ is being mutually in love
