Life is a risk and a gift. Keep open and aware of both. Each of us got here beginning with a moment of passion. Why not continue that passion? Most get lost in the foggy soup of life looking for what can’t seemingly be found by begging, borrowing or stealing only to find despair with ‘shoots of hope’ to fuel traveling through life’s bramble bushes. Good news is that those who have and continue to focus on the lights of the affirmative will bounce back in a far shorter time than those holding on to issues unresolved.
Putting on a ‘happy smile’ might have some value, but having that smile always within ready to tell you, everything is going to be alright, is a real smile. Smiling faces are often a self deception of a misunderstanding of how to make it the dominant force in your life. Today ‘substance abuse’ be it alcohol, pot, legal or illegal drugs with use or misuse, not to mention a negative attitude controlling the positive with substance abuse is deeply embedded in our society for those looking for a quick way to inner nirvana. Instant degrees of bliss, that are always within you, don’t like substance invaders to create an artificial high.
Today the expression ‘fake news’ is a wake up call for everyone. Fake anything to flame the positive, will or can be put out by the negative rumblings within who have their own mind. Make a commitment to yourself to go on the playing field of life everyday with a ‘born again’ attitude as it will create an excitement of life. People ask me from time to time, am I happy? My answer is an unusual one, ‘who cares since I’m excited’ and about following my passions with empathy and compassion for others! ‘I’m happy’ is too shallow of an automatic response from most everybody. If you’re excited, happiness is almost an irrelevant state in a way, as it’s obvious.
Look forward to better things, opportunities, and don’t forget the number one thing to look forward to, ‘finding and experiencing the excitement of the love within, and from my experience, IT’S REAL! Just be quiet, be still and stop participating in the imaginary world created by your thoughts. There is no identification when the mind is not engaged with thoughts; no suffering is a consequence of no identification. If nothing else, always go to that inner smile! Time to be free and say, ‘I like me … in fact, I love me!’ Smile!
