The inflammation of a perpetual habit of initiating opinions on others that are based upon a faulty perception. All habits are replaceable by other ones. The habit of looking at the negative side of things involving someone when in fact there are more commonsense or compassionate ways of looking at them is a necessary habit to break on the path of greater evolving spiritual consciousness.
Whether it’s a court of law that jumps to conclusions without looking closely at all evidence, or someone who makes assumptions because you are one race, religion, political leaning, or any biased individual perception, it’s all avoidance of truth. That which answers your perceptions without careful, prudent examination has no redeeming value to honor another’s right of safety from psychological harm.
No problem has been solved by the consciousness that created the problem! The key to being a person of integrity is to always be open to self examination and the response or reaction to others as having within them the seed of that ‘there may be truth within them’. False perceptions of another expressed can have lasting effects on all future connection with that person.
A paradigm shift of behavior might just be a wise move, and is a ‘do-over’ from a new viewpoint that harmonizes with the truth. Most find themselves uncomfortably comfortable with what they believe in while never giving the ways of behavior an analysis for the best way of looking at being in harmony with how another sees things, rightly, wrongly or somewhere in between.
It’s best in making a judgment that all factors are considered and examined from positive, common sense. Jumping to conclusions is judgmentitis, however a reversal to that behavior is a path to more spiritual consciousness. If you are prone to such things, this is a clear signal to slow down, and give things more thought (and to give people “more chances.”). This can be a real time of spiritual awakening.
Focusing on love, a reversal of judgment, can still be a make-or-break period for an existing relationship. You, and the people around you, may be in the process of changing. Don’t cling tightly to the status quo. If you are looking for love, a new relationship may well come about. Why keep making the same mistakes on interacting with others when careful examination and using ‘skillful means’ will create a much better, flowing relationship connection. Wisdom comes with having the flexibility to see better ways to communicate with all types of people. Judgment in reverse again reminds you of the need to be open to new ideas and new experiences. It’s just the spiritual thing to do!
