Stupid is to forget the love of self, both inner and outer. Stupid is free. Love is free. To ‘sin’ is to be unaware consciously or unconsciously. One could call it ‘stupidity’ in any case, and it’s also free and mostly a choice! Words are powerful, but more so is the spirit of God or being with the spirit of God. No one can define God in its many languages, but you can attempt such as – keeping in balance or positioning harmoniously with all matters both inner and outer.
Sin is darkness. Bring the light of consciousness and sin disappears. Do not fight with the sin; do not be concerned directly with the sin; do not think in terms of sin. Otherwise you will feel guilty and it will not be a spiritual growth; rather, it will be a fall. The stupid person is completely satisfied with himself. When irritated, he becomes dangerous and may even go on the attack. More caution is therefore required when dealing with the stupid than with the wicked. Never try to convince the stupid with reasons; it’s pointless and dangerous. To inner connect with someone in dialog is to move into the light.
The fact that stupid people are often stubborn should not hide the fact that they are not independent. When talking to him, one feels that one is not dealing with him personally, but with catchphrases, slogans, etc. that have taken possession of him. He is under a spell; he is blinded; he is abused in his own being. He’s a dunce in having life treat him wonderfully as he also doesn’t take the time to treat himself best.
The Bible states that the fear of God is the beginning of wisdom. Thus, the inner liberation of man begins by living responsibly before God. Only then may stupidity be overcome. In a sense to put oneself above godliness is the ultimate form of hubris or exaggerated pride.
If you are committing sins it shows only one thing: that you are fast asleep, unaware. So do not fight with the sins; rather, on the contrary, move within and become more and more alert. As alertness grows within, sins disappear without. A moment comes when you are simply a flame of light within, alert to whatsoever you do, alert to whatsoever moves in the mind, alert to whatsoever happens in you. There is no sin then.
