Dream Doors?
July 22, 2019
Wake up and see the opportunities! Building a ‘door of opportunity’ it’s best to remember that ‘doors of opportunity’ don’t necessarily just show up. Building that ‘door’ to attract opportunities is much more likely to be successful. Reminds me of the classic movie, Field of Dreams where the actor Kevin Costner played a guy named Ray, and has a dream to build a baseball diamond in a cornfield of Iowa because he hears a mysterious voice one night in his cornfield saying “If you build it, he will come,” he feels the need to act. Despite taunts of lunacy, Ray builds a baseball diamond on his land, supported by his wife, Annie (Amy Madigan). Afterward, the ghosts of great players start emerging from the crops to play ball, led by “Shoeless” Joe Jackson. But, as Ray learns, this field of dreams is about much more than bringing former baseball greats out to play. That ‘field of dreams’ opened more doors than first imagined. One door often leads to other doors, and a flood of open windows.
That first door is ‘you’! Creating the most positive, heartfelt, logical you attracts doors and windows of opportunity for your awareness to discern which to open. The world is our oyster and when opened has a pearl of choices. The limited mind falls into depression as it digs into spaces away from the light that shows the way. Open up the doors of intuition and common sense that will direct the life of moving in the direction of blessings. Tune in – turn on and drive ahead steered by heart and mind with the wisdom of God.
Be strong and always keep a smile and a sense of humor. Knock, knock? Who’s there? Opportunities beyond dreams! Awareness is what is awake right now seeing through our eyes, hearing through our ears and feeling through our hearts, before the filter of thinking divides it all into parts called time, space, world, me, even before concepts of awareness and non-awareness appear.
When everything seems to be going against you, remember that the airplane takes off against the wind, not with it. – Henry Ford Remember these simple guidelines for happiness. 1. Free your heart from hate. 2. Free your mind from worry. 3. Live simple. 4. Give more. 5. Expect less. Learn to create silence in your mind and peace will flourish in your soul. Freedom is within, and gives to the freedom without.
