Buddha had a saying “appo dippo bhava” – be a light unto yourself! Be free from God, Heaven, Hell, Popes, Churches, Temples & Gurus. Jesus used a metaphor, that, interpreted in common language, said to align yourself with faith, God, a oneness with another, meaning that which gives you more strength as a light unto yourself.
Is nothing sacred in you life? Everything done for the best of intents is sacred. You have many happenings in your life that have positive intent and meaning. The purity of truth in you is becoming the Divine representation of God’s wishes for you and everyone of us. Find the deep love within, and then know you are that expression going forward and onward. It’s easy to see another’s blame without looking at our own participation in it. And that participation may not have been a failing in other circumstances like with another person, but when most two combine, often the oneness floats away gradually leaving ‘the sacred oneness’ into a two-ness.
My observations, studying and experiencing about the ‘sacred oneness’ in relationships is that rarely are two people fully focused on knowing themselves deeply and giving of that in communion with a partner who is also fully of the heart with both have no fears of intimacy. Two people almost always have to each, find or be dedicated to finding that deep love within themselves. and then as ‘one’. It doesn’t matter who you are on the outside if the ‘inside’ is forgotten or neglected.
My experience is, at this time in life anyway, that the key to the sacred oneness, is both being dedicated to it, but the male must be ‘there’ as the female is more often than not, an open heart to receive but not to lead. I’ve still to see any relationship where a female can ‘lead the way’ so to speak. Males are ‘itinerant’, easily distracted with whatever, and willing to fritter away with their emotional needs, and through no fault of the female in many ways. Success in the outer world has nothing to do with it in the inner world, in fact is often counter to it. Being ‘successful’ is a wonderful thing, but often comes with it’s opposite in the world of love.
Love is ‘fickle’ when ignored, and often it’s a love not quite enough within. Nice thing about deep inner love within – it’s there wherever one goes – with no doubts. Loving another is just letting you know that it’s your love of self that is ‘talking’.You are born with a tremendous possibility of intelligence. You are born with a light within you. Listen to the still, small voice within, and that will guide you. Nobody else can guide you, nobody else can become a model for your life, because you are unique. Nobody has there been ever who was exactly like you, and nobody is ever going to be there again who will be exactly like you. Life is a ‘blind date’ – make the best of it!
